I’ll never forget the moment I realized just how much healing my inner child could transform my life. On a family trip to Disney World, I thought I was just there to create magical memories for my son. But as I stood in Magic Kingdom, clapping and waving wildly during the Festival of Fantasy Parade, something extraordinary happened. I watched the Disney princesses float by, and suddenly, tears streamed down my face. At first, I thought it was pride for giving my family this experience. But then it hit me - the 6-year-old little girl inside me, the one who had carried so many hurts and unmet expectations, was bursting with joy. She was calling the shots that day, and for the first time in years, I let her. We danced, laughed, cried, and reveled in the magic. We met Mickey and Minnie, twirled with princesses, and savored every Mickey-shaped treat we could find. And in those moments of pure, unbridled joy, I realized how much I had denied that little girl within me - and how much she needed to be seen, heard, and loved.
This journey to Disney wasn’t just a family trip; it was a moment of profound healing. And now, I want to share that magic with you.
